History
Hines Pool & Spa was established by Andy Hines in 1986 with one truck and a single account. In 2010 the business boasted more than 35 employees, 30 trucks and some 1,500 residential and commercial accounts.
Products and Services
Hines offers new pool construction, as well as cleaning, repairs and renovation services, and Certified Pool Operator classes. In addition, Lunch at Hines is an informal get-together at Hines' shop to discuss basic water chemistry, pool equipment, maintenance and safety issues.
Hines also provides one- to three-hour specialized on-site training courses to commercial customers in either English or Spanish that are customized to the needs of the pool. After a brief orientation, the trainer will explain the specific operations of the pool equipment, water chemistry, and maintenance procedures required by a particular pool or spa system.
