Central Iowa Pool & Spa is an independently owned aboveground and inground swimming pool and spa installation, service and retail center located in Des Moines, Iowa.

History
Central Iowa Pool & Spa was founded in 1996 by John and Nora Mosher in Des Moines. John and Nora began the company primarily installing aboveground swimming pools and portable spas.
In the later 2000s, Mario Alba took over operations, allowing John and Nora to work in a semi-retired capacity.
Alba started out installing aboveground swimming pools for CIPS in 1996. From there he moved up to crew foreman, service tech, service manager, general manager and now president.
Products and Services
In addition to a complete line of Lomart aboveground Pools and Pacific inground pools, Central Iowa Pool & Spa carries three lines of billiard tables by C.L. Bailey and Connelly, various billiard accessories, game tables, furniture and pub tables, grills and other outdoor and indoor accessories.
Central Iowa Pool & Spa also is a BioGuard Platinum dealer, Sundance Spa Premier dealer and Pacific Pool Showcase Builder.
Service capabilities include in-store water testing, pool openings and closings, general pool maintenance and full spa service.
